The Canon Realis x700 1.7x Ultra-Wide Zoom Lens has the widest zoom range projector lens, giving you a diagonal screen size range of 40" (at a very short projection distance of 3.9') to 300". At a short 9.8' distance, you still get a 100" screen. And if that's not enough, the Digital Zoom feature gives you an additional zoom range of 1.7x to 12x. The Canon Realis x700 is an ultra portable and compact projector that's easy to carry and set up, wherever you need it. And with an array of advanced and well designed features, it's also extremely easy to use.
Keystone Correction lets you project a perfect image by correcting for keystone distortion of +/- 20 degrees horizontally or vertically. Plus, depending on your requirements, you can use it for rear-projection, or you can mount it on the ceiling with an optional Ceiling Mount Adapter.
The Canon Realis x700's new Auto Setup feature is quick and accurate. With the touch of a button, it only takes seconds to set up.

Its well thought out command hierarchy means you're never more than three steps away from any adjustment or operation you need to make. Illuminated Input Indicators show your projector's connections and operational status at a glance. Plus, front and rear infrared sensors let you control your Canon X700 with a wireless remote from in front of or behind the projector.
In the classroom or office, the projector's Spotlight feature dims your image except for the area you want everyone to pay attention to. That way, you can make sure your audience sees exactly what you want them to see.
All the while, you can be sure your audience isn't distracted by fan noise. In Normal mode, the Canon X700 runs at 35dB, and in Quiet mode, it runs at 31dB. Plus, you won't be distracted because you can operate your Canon Realis x700 effortlessly with the help of the Wireless IR Remote Control with illuminated keys. And the USB mouse function allows users to use the projector remote to operate the mouse of the USB connected computer.
The Canon Realis x700 even has features that make it simple to turn off. You never have to wait for the projector to cool down before unplugging it and heading to your next meeting the projector's fan continues to operate, powered by an internal charging system. You can also turn the projector off simply by turning the power off with a control switch a convenient feature when the projector is mounted on the ceiling and can't be operated directly. PIN Code Lock and Function Lock allow you to control who can make changes to the projector and prevent tampering with the settings.
You can even operate your projector and receive alerts through a LAN with the optional Network Adapter.

The Canon X700's DVI-I terminal gives you a true digital connection - from source to display. Since it conforms to HDCP (High Bandwidth Digital Copy Protection), you can use your Canon X700 to project high quality video from satellite and digital cable boxes, as well as DVD players without any reduction in image quality. (The terminal also accepts an analog signal from your laptop computer and devices with a VGA terminal.)
More audio flexibility is yours with the Canon X700 thanks to its three inputs. You can use one audio input for each source you may have (DVI, VGA and Video). The variable audio output will switch automatically when the input source changes and can be connected to amplified speakers or a receiver for high-quality sound. All simple to install and with sound levels controllable from your projector's remote control unit.
Advanced Color Management
With the REALiS X700, you can select between four Color Modes, each one designed for a different type of projection:
- Standard mode gives you images closely resembling the original, with an emphasis on white areas
- Presentation mode increases contrast between bright and dark areas, making it easier to see detailed diagrams and text
- sRGB mode is optimized for sRGB images, which includes those produced by many digital cameras
- Movie mode emphasizes gradation to produce realistic depth and dimension the best way to watch your favorite movie or home video

You can also create custom settings by adjusting seven different aspects (brightness, contrast, sharpness, gamma, and more) for each of the four image modes. This means 28 different custom image modes for a perfect picture, no matter what you're viewing.
Complete Color Control
Your projection screen is your canvas with the Canon X700's unparalleled color control. An easy to use Graphical User Interface lets you adjust your palette of colors to paint the picture you want for your audience.
With Memory/Vivid Color Correction, you can adjust the degree of vividness of each of the primary colors (red, green, blue) and each of the secondary colors (cyan, magenta, yellow). Choose between low, medium, and high to project the image the way you remember it.
Plus, the projector's 6 axis (RGBCMY) Color Adjustment lets you fine tune the hue and saturation of each of the primary and secondary colors. This high degree of control makes each projected image a masterpiece.
To maximize the usability of the Canon Realis X700, an optional Network Adapter is available. With the adapter and the included software, it is possible to operate the Canon X700 from a networked PC. This makes it simple for an A/V team to operate ceiling mounted or remotely installed projectors from a PC screen, allowing fewer personnel to cover a larger service area.
In addition, alerts can be sent to the PC to give notification of any malfunctions or service issues which may arise in a projector. Numerous projectors may be monitored and controlled from a single PC
